Homework Challenge: "Chain Story"
Many years ago, in a small village at the foot of the Ruahine Ranges, lived a brave warrior named Rangi. One day Rangi went hunting with his dog Paru for some wild pig. They hunted long and hard all day but could not track a single wild pig. Rangi and his dog Paru were getting tired, hungry, cold and wet as the grey clouds sat over the ranges and started to cry with rain.

Suddenly, he came to 3 tracks in the forest but he took the wrong track (Santana).

ReplyDeletethey found a tree that had fallen across the river and they walked across the tree to get to the other side. ( Alexis )
ReplyDeleteParu put his nose to the ground trying to pick up the scent of a wild pig and almost straight away started running quickly and barking loudly up a steep slipery track. (Sally)
ReplyDeleteBefore long Paru had cornered a pig and Ranji finished the job. The only thing left was to start the long journey home to their waiting whanau...
