The Homework Challenge 'N'

This week was our first Homework Challenge for Term 3. While the number of challenges submitted this week was low, there were some very genuine and personal work to share. It seems that Room 3 love their Nanna's a lot!!

The winner this week was Shannon with her moving and touching presentation on her Nanny, who sadly passed away recently. It was very moving to see that our Homework Challenge could be a vehicle for Shannon to process her loss and reflect on the feelings she is experiencing.

Well done Shannon, you have taken the Homework Challenge to a new place this week with some meaningful, life-long learning. (Our thoughts go out to the Hirst family for their loss)

The Homework Challenge winner "M"

This was the final Homework Challenge before the holidays, and marks the halfway point in the year.

We had a range of topics from mermaids and muffins to money and monopoly.

The winner was Sally and her book of a Muffin Recipie. Not only that she actually bought the muffins to school and we all got one for morning tea!! Thanks Sally!!
